Our Music Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to create a song service consistent with the teaching of the scriptures and to select songs that reinforce the lessons being taught which creates an atmosphere conducive to singing to the Lord with grace in our hearts.

The deacon assigned to this ministry has the following responsibilities:

• Selection of dedicated and dependable Christian men willing to lead our singing at each worship service.
• Turn in the names of the men selected and preparing the monthly service list. Update as required each week during the month for inclusion in the bulletin.
• Keep records of those willing to lead our singing and add new member to current lists. Coordinate changes administrative assistant in the church office.
• Make provision for and coordinate a singing class for those willing to lead singing and for any members wishing to attend and learn new songs as well as singing old songs. This includes young men training classes to be coordinated with the youth minister.
• Coordinate and plan for any special singing services, gospel meetings, and special events related to worship.
