Deaf Minister

Mark Lowenstein is a Deaf Minister of the Gospel for the Deaf at Camelback Church of Christ since  October 2011.  Mark has been serving at Deaf Missions in Iowa as the Director of Training and Outreach since June 2010. Prior to that time, he served as the Fairfax Church of Christ in Fairfax, Virginia, as minister to the deaf for 9 years. He also served as the deaf minister for the Overland Park Church of Christ in Overland Park, Kansas for 2 years.

Mark has traveled on mission trips to Mexico City, Mexico (’95) and Pitesti, Romania (’03, ’04, ’05). He hopes to return to Romania and other parts of the country in the near future.
He holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. He attended the Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas, completing his Bible studies in Biblical and Ministry Studies. He is currently working online on his Bachelors of Biblical and Ministry studies with Sunset International Bible Institute. He and his wife, Michelle, have three children (Amanda, Angela and Alyson).

Mark says he is extremely blessed with the experience at Sunset where he and his family began their journey of service with God. He and his family have a hungry desire to bring the gospel to the lost, the hurting and the confused, leading them to know Jesus Christ as Savior and equipping them to experience His great love for us all!

He and his family will begin working at Camelback Church of Christ on October 16, 2011.
