Our Congregation

The Camelback Road congregation of the church of Christ was established in the 1960’s.

Christ is the head of the church (Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 1:22-23). The body of Christ that worships at Camelback Road in Phoenix has appointed four elders (elders are described as bishops, shepherds, pastors, and overseers in the New Testament) to oversee the congregation per the instructions of Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-8. We also have appointed many deacons to serve the congregation’s needs in many ways per the instructions of 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and the example given in Acts 6:1-5.

Each of us strives to be ministers of the gospel, to share it with friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and whom we come in contact with.
